Debating Australia would like to thank all of its students and coaches over the last 6 years for their hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, we have made the hard decision to closed Debating Australia effective from January 2022.
In 2014, Samantha assisted her children's school in establishing weekly debating classes. In September 2016, Debating Australia was launched. The Debating Club operates across Brisbane at over 20 Schools and has developed the skills of more than 300 debaters. In 2020, Debating Australia connected with students online and invited students from Regional and Remote Queensland to join the debating community.
Public speaking, advocacy and the art of persuasion have all played a crucial role in Samantha's professional career. After completing a combined degree, Bachelor of Business (Accountancy)/Bachelor of Laws, Samantha was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and practised as a Commercial Litigation and Property Lawyer. Samantha has also worked as a Lecturer for a Queensland University in China, as an In-house Solicitor for two iconic Queensland businesses and as a Member of two NFP Management Committees. Debating skills can take you places!
