Debating Australia takes child safety very seriously. All of our Coaches hold Blue Cards as required by Australian law. Child Safety forms part of the ongoing training of our Coaches and we review our Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy annually.

At the commencement of each Term, Coaches will clearly set out expectations of internet use to students in class.

Child Safety is everyone's responsibility and Debating Australia encourages parents to review its Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy and talk with their children about being safe online.

Parents are asked to ensure that students are online in a public space at home and are set up at an appropriate workspace so that internet usage can be monitored from home.
